Butterflies

To help identify the different types of butterflies in the above pictures, these are the following butterfly characteristics of each:

-- White Admiral (black and white butterfly)
-- Painted Lady (small orange one with four small circles on bottom of wings)
-- American Lady (similar to the Painted Lady but with two large circles and no smaller ones, more grayish in color)
-- Monarch (large orange one with stained glass look and black trim around wings)
-- Cabbage White (small white with two dark spots on each wing and a smudge of color on the tips)
-- Red Admiral (reddish brown with a wide yellow strip and white spots)
-- Northern Crescent (small yellow and brownish color with thick black around edges of wings)
-- Eastern Black Swallowtail (brown with orange circles and hints of blue just below the orange. Has white circles on the larger wings)
-- Small Copper Butterfly (small, orange wings with dark spots and brown lower body with band of orange color)
-- Hummingbird Moth (looks like a super big bee!)
