My Photo Picks of the Week

My photos of the week are changing to accommodate winter and Christmas! Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I think it's because everything seems so extra-festive. I love going around the neighborhood and seeing all the lawn decorations and lights aglow. Because of a shoulder injury, my outside decorations are not up yet. I did manage to get my wooden wreath hung but that's about it. Hopefully with my upcoming round of physical therapy I will be able to lift those giant ornaments from the shed to the front yard. Hahaha, I still have my scarecrow up from September, although I swear she keeps inching closer to the house...creepy! Not sure she will be around for another season. Last year, she was on a tall pole and I had to move her because she was scaring the local kids walking by. Much rather see my ornaments and snowman out there right now to give my yard a much needed holiday vibe.

It's December (Yikes!) and time to put the pellet stove to use again. Thank God for this stove. It heats well and I don't have to use my oil!

Putting up Christmas decorations is a pain but it looks and feels so good afterwards! Be nice to have one of Santa's helpers to help me with it though.

Houdini, the heater hog.

I love snowmen--the fake kind! They are always so adorable. No matter where you put them, they cheer you up with just one look!
